On 20 November 2025, this year's German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) prize was awarded. This prize honours international students who have achieved outstanding academic results and demonstrated social commitment during their studies at RUB. We as an institute are delighted that this year's prize was awarded to Mr Avokpo Téyi Jean Mari Lawson. Mr Lawson is studying for a master's degree in electrical engineering and information technology, specialising in energy systems engineering, and is also employed as a research assistant at the EneSys institute.
